The State Fair Champion Color Guard Team was invited to perform at Indiana Downs for the Youth Day at the Races. This was sponsored by the Indiana Quarter Horse Racing Association. Our thanks go out to Jim Noel and Carter Riley for the invite.
Always imitate the behavior of the winner when you lose.

"Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of solitaire. It is a grand passion. It seizes a person whole and, once it has done so, he will have to accept that his life will be radically changed."

With the new fairgrounds, there will be new challenges. While the leadership is trying to have everything planned, we may have to adjust the way we handle things. Good attitudes will be critical to having a successful fair. A successful fair is one where every youth member participating has the chance to do their best and is shown respect and admiration for having done that best.

Parents, youth and volunteers are all partners in this process. Join us in making 2006 a great Fair.
